Hi, my name is Joe Beckman. I am among many things, a youth worker, a public speaker, a DJ, a server, a quarterback for a one-hand touch football team, and a group fitness instructor. More important then all of that combined, however…is the fact that I am a father. In the summer of 2007 my wife told me the news that she was pregnant… 81/2 months later we had our little baby girl Sophia.

Life as I knew it got flipped on it’s head.

I struggled.  I'm not afraid to admit it.  Unfortunately, in search for some local resources on how to become a better and more patient dad, I came up empty-handed.

Although it was hard, I made it through...just like they all do.  Now she's 2 1/2 and it's so much EASIER!  But at the time, it wasn't easy and although I didn't find the resources I needed at the time...it inspired me to create Papa Gio LLC.

At Papa Gio we are providing support and resources for dads who might be looking for answers, dads who want to connect and network with other dads, and dads who are hungry and eager to be the best dad, husband, partner, and...papa that they can be.

So that’s me…in a nutshell.
